Bulldog Rescue could not operate without the dedicated time from those on the Rescue Volunteer Network

Bulldog Rescue are currently looking for new area volunteers (especially foster homes) in the following areas NORTH WEST, NORTH SCOTLAND, MID NORTH |
By becoming a volunteer you must be prepared to act quickly if required and maybe keep dogs at your home for a few days. All rescue volunteers are required to abide by our Rescue Policy (a copy of which will be forwarded to you once your application has been approved) and attend a meeting each May in Leicester.
Remember, it's not all glamorous and they are not all happy ending. Once you have completed an application you will be interviewed to ascertain your suitability as a volunteer
Rescue Volunteers are people who look after bulldogs on behalf of rescue within their own area. Duties include
HOME CHECKING POTENTIAL NEW HOMES
LOOKING AFTER BULLDOGS ON A TEMPORARY BASIS WHILST NEW HOMES ARE FUND
LOOKING AFTER BULLDOGS THAT ARE POORLY AND ARE IN NEED OF TREATMENT
ASSESSING BULLDOGS TO ASCERTAIN THEIR SUITABILITY FOR REHOMING
TRANSPORTNG BULLDOGS BETWEEN HOMES OR TO FOSTER CARE
Bulldog Rescue operate on a system of volunteers across the country, some areas are very busy, some areas have very little to do, but it is only because of the volunteers that we are able to act quickly when required and be able to collect dogs when necessary.
Being a rescue volunteer can be incredibly rewarding and on occasions incredibly heart breaking, but If you feel you have what it takes and can offer your time to help Bulldogs in need in your area please complete an application form and return it to us. You will be able to claim all bona fide expenses including mileage.
