One of the great things about this breed is that they are all very different. You'll never find two bulldogs with the same personality which makes it easier to not be continually comparing your new dog to your last one, but it should also be noted that your new dog will act totally differently also.

How would you cope if your new bulldog was mischievous when your previous bulldog was quite happy to sit quietly and do as he was told?
That's how he is and we'd accept it I couldn't put up with a badly behaved dog, he'd have to be rehomed We'd make the effort to work with him and maybe retrain him
