Once a chip number is registered it will stay on the data base for life

You are under no obligation to renew your subscription, dogs you've already registered will stay on the system but you will not be able to register any new numbers unless you renew your subscription

It's unlikely that we would be told if your dog comes through another rescue. To safeguard this eventuality we encourage all our registered breeders to advice that rescue is used if the people they sell their dog to needs to rehome their dog at any time in the future and to advice their family members or put in their will that rescue is to be informed in the event of the owners death.

Occasionally we may miss a chip number, this is unlikely but registered breeders need to be aware that it could happen.

Sadly we can only register chip numbers for dogs that are resident in the UK as we are unlikely to receive or rehome dogs from outside of Great Britain.

Yes, you can register chip numbers to any bulldog you've already sold in the past. The number will then stay on our data base for life. You must have an up to date subscription in order to register though.

If a registered chip number shows up on a dog we are asked to rehome or that comes through the rescue system we will inform you before listing that dog for rehoming. You then have the option to take the dog back yourself or to allow rescue to rehome as normal. Once a dog has been rehomed by the rescue the life long responsibility of that dog becomes rescues and we will ensure that the dog is safe for life.

That depends on how long you want us to keep him for and if we had needed to have any veterinary treatment carried out, Charges (if necessary) would be individual to the case involved.

All rescue activity is confidential and is never discussed with a third party outside of the rescue organisation

Over 120 bulldogs come through the system every year, some stay at home, some move into foster homes and for the most part we don't always get to see the registration documents as many of them are already on their 2nd or 3rd home. It's impossible to try and trace the breeder for every single dog. We did used to contact breeders but must admit we got fed up with being told "not my problem".  We always ask for the microchip number so can instantly check this number against our data base as dogs are booked in and of course we then already know which breeders care enough to want their pups back, or simply just want to know that something they bred has come through the system and allow us to find a good home. Besides you're helping us with our work simply by subscribing £15.00 to us every year.
