![]() ![]() ABOUT THE CO-ORDINATORS: Tania and David have been married for 10 years but have been together since 1992 and have run the rescue since April 2001. Tania has 2 children by a previous marriage and by day they run their family business along with Tania's son Jason from their home in West Sussex where they have lived since 1995. They have owned bulldogs since the late 80s when Bessie, a rescue from Olive Hunt went to live with David, Bessie came as part of the package when Tania and David got together and despite this being the first bulldog Tania had ever seen, without her they would not be doing what they are dong today as almost 2 decades later they now run the rescue. Since Bess there have been a further 13 bulldogs that have shared their home, 6 of which still live with them and 8 of which are buried in the memorial garden at their home. In 1999 they bred their first litter and showed quite successfully with 2 of the pups from that litter, including Crufts, sadly once rescue took over there was little time left to dedicate to breeding and showing. Tania holds both a dog breeding diploma and an advanced dog breeding certificate, she is canine first aid trained and is an Animal Care College accredited Pet Care Profession. She is currently studying to become an SQP and also recently wrote a book on how to care for your bulldog which to date has sold almost 1000 copies.

ABOUT
BULLDOG RESCUE: Bulldog Rescue began life back in the 1970s and has been run by the current
co-ordinators at it's current location since 2001, during that time they've
rehomed almost 900 bulldogs. The annual turn over is around £25,000 but they don't
make a profit as they ensure that every single penny is spent on the dogs that
need their help.
